ISU World Junior Figure Skating Championships 2012, Day 4

The competition at the ISU World Junior Figure Skating Championships 2012 concluded Saturday in Minsk, Belarus, with the Men's and Ladies Free Skating.
Han Yan (CHN) skates off with Junior Men's gold
Han Yan of China skated off with the Junior Men's gold, becoming the first Chinese man to win the ISU Junior World title. USA's Joshua Farris and Jason Brown claimed the silver and bronze medal respectively.
Skating to “Zigeunerweisen”, Yan produced a triple Axel, quadruple toeloop and five more clean triples as well as a level-four combination spin. He established a new seasons best with 147.57 points and racked up 222.45 points overall to move up from second to first. “I feel very honoured to be the first Chinese man to win this title. Today my performance was pretty good, I showed my level. The placement doesn't matter to me, for me it is more important to skate well”, the 15-year-old said.
Farris' routine to Rachmaninov's Piano Concerto No. 3 featured a triple Axel-double toe, another triple Axel as well as five other good triple jumps and three level-four spins. He only wobbled on the triple Lutz-triple toe combination. The ISU Junior Grand Prix Final bronze medalist improved his seasons best significantly with 146.54 points but slipped from first to second at 221.97 points. “I thought my performance was phenomenal. I haven't skated like that in a while in my long program so I was happy about that. My goal going into this competition was to skate two strong, clean programs and I thought I did that except for a few bobbles, but that's okay”, the 17-year-old commented.
Brown hit seven solid triples including two Lutzes and showed fast well centered spins in his program to “Flow Like Water”. The 17-year old scored 144.70 points, another seasons best, and pulled up from fourth to third at 214.90 points. “I'm so honored to be up here and to be able to medal for the USA. My goal was to skate two great programs that I've been practicing and it looked like that is what happened. It was great to be around some of these amazing skaters this week”, the ISU Junior Grand Prix Final Champion noted.
Denis Ten (KAZ) dropped to fourth after falling on an underrotated quad toeloop (208.20 points). Zhan Bush (RUS) placed fifth at 196.06 points. He Zhang (CHN) finished sixth (193.97 points).
Julia Lipnitskaia (RUS) claims Junior Ladies gold
Julia Lipnitskaia of Russia claimed the Junior Ladies gold medal. Gracie Gold (USA) took silver and Adelina Sotnikova of Russia earned the bronze. Both Lipnitskaia and Gold debuted at Junior Worlds.
Skating last, Lipnitskaia delivered a flawless program to “Romeo and Juliet”, reeling off seven triple jumps and level-four spins. The ISU Junior Grand Prix Final Champion set a new seasons best for herself with 123.96 points and accumulated 187.05 points to take the title in her debut at the event. “I am incredibly happy now. I liked everything and the performance was ideal. Now I am in a great mood. It was a great ending for a great season”, Lipnitskaia said.
Gold's performance to “The Mission” and “The Untouchables” featured a triple Lutz-triple toeloop combination and four more triples. The U.S. Junior Champion only doubled the loop and scored a seasons best with 113.85 points which added up to 171.85 points overall. “I am very happy with my skate. I thought I skated really well. It wasn't perfect I had a few little mistakes, but overall I thought I did a very good job with my performance and my placement”, Gold commented.
Performing to “Liebestraum”, Sotnikova nailed a triple Lutz-triple loop combination and four more triples but missed the triple loop. The defending champion earned 111.88 points and totaled 168.45 points to remain in third place. “I am quite satisfied with my performance as I proved that I am able to do the hard elements. I didn't skate completely clean but I am still happy with it”, the 15-year-old told the post-event press conference.
Satoko Miyahara (JPN) placed fourth with a solid performance that included a triple Lutz-triple toe combination (157.78 points) and Zijun Li (CHN) came fifth at 157.31 points. Polina Shelepen (RUS) pulled up from 12th to round up the top six (156.02 points).

新浪体育讯 北京时间3月3日晚，2012年花样滑冰世青赛在白俄罗斯明斯克开始了最后一个比赛日的较量。在刚刚结束的男单自由滑中，我国小将闫涵(微博)表现出众，拔得头筹，并以总分222.45分摘得桂冠，为我国花样滑冰男单项目实现了历史性突破，成为了我国首位花样滑冰世青赛男单冠军。
闫涵在今天的自由滑中分在最后一组第二个出场，他的主要竞争对手之一，来自哈萨克斯坦选手丹尼斯在他之前出场，并未发挥出自己的最佳水平，夺冠的大门开始向闫涵敞开。闫涵今天的《流浪者之歌》一开场便令人惊艳，阿克赛尔三周跳和后外点冰四周跳完成质量令人赞叹，特别是阿克赛尔三周跳，有三位裁判都为他打出了满分的技术加分。除了这两个最具难度的跳跃动作外，闫涵在这套节目中还完成了6个三周跳，唯一出现失误的地方是编排在节目最后的一组连跳，由于失误该动作被判降组。但瑕不掩瑜，这一处小的问题并没有影响闫涵这套自由滑的整体技术发挥，76.37分的技术分稳稳占据全场技术分榜首。而闫涵出色的滑行技巧也为他赢得了全场最高的滑行分，流畅大气的表演使闫涵获得了71.2分的节目内容分，这也为闫涵最终夺冠形成了良好助力。最终，闫涵在本届世青赛上，以刷新自己个人历史最佳的三项成绩，短节目74.88分、自由滑147.57分、总分222.45分夺得冠军。此前，我国在世青赛男单项目中的最好成绩是宋楠(微博)在2010年夺得的亚军。
短节目排名第一的美国选手法里斯今天自由滑在闫涵之后出场。他拥有短节目的比分优势，自由滑71.2分的节目内容分又与闫涵打成平手，但在自由滑技术分上，法里斯75.34分的技术分输给闫涵1.03分，最终以0.48分的微弱差距负于闫涵，两套节目总分221.97分。法里斯本赛季的自由滑来自拉赫玛尼诺夫的第三钢琴协奏曲，他在这套节目中完成了两个阿克赛尔三周跳和另外6个三周跳，唯一一处明显失误是节目后半段的勾手三周接后外点冰三周连跳，其他技术动作的完成质量都不错，三组旋转也都获得了四级的最高定级。
另一位美国选手布朗压轴出场，凭借自由滑的出色表现排名提升一位，站上领奖台夺得季军。由于没有阿克赛尔三周跳和四周跳的难度，布朗在技术难度上并无明显优势，但他今天的整套节目完成的滴水不漏，所有既定技术动作全部顺利完成，难度定级和技术加分都很可观。同时，他对节目的演绎正如这套节目的选曲名字一样，如水而动，细腻流畅的表演为他赢得了全场最高的节目内容分，使他最终以自由滑144.7分，总分214.9分摘得铜牌。
哈萨克斯坦选手丹尼斯今天的发挥不尽如人意。开场的后外点冰四周摔倒使该动作被判周数不足，同时又被扣了技术分，而节目后半段勾手三周跳周数不足和后内点冰三周跳起空都使他的技术分与前几位选手拉开了差距。134.42分的自由滑成绩显然对丹尼斯来说不太理想，总分208.2分的成绩也使他无缘领奖台，最终排名第四。
俄罗斯选手布什今天的《卡门》整体完成质量不错，虽然开场的后外点冰四周只完成了两周，但随后的阿克赛尔三周跳完成质量可圈可点，整套节目7个三周跳的编排也为他奠定了很好的基础难度分值。最终他获得了130.85分的自由滑成绩，并以总分196.06分排在第五位。
我国另一位小将张鹤自由滑拿到129.34分的新个人最佳，总分193.97分最终名列第六，这一成绩也同样刷新了他的个人总分最高分。与短节目一样，张鹤今天的《蓝色狂想曲》同样完成的比较干净。张鹤的这套自由滑中编排了7个三周跳和两个阿克赛尔两周跳，今天所有技术动作他都顺利完成，并获得了技术加分。三组旋转除跳接蹲转的定级一般外，另外两组旋转的定级和加分也比较理想。另一方面，在节目内容分上，张鹤也获得了不错的成绩。
另外值得一提的是，本届世青赛上，中国队两位小选手闫涵、张鹤分别拿到第一和第六的战绩，两人排名相加小于13，根据国际滑联规则规定，我国将获得2013年世青赛男单项目三席的满额席位。同样拿到男单满额席位的还有美国队，而日本队明年则将只有两人的世青赛男单名额。
恭喜中国男单小将在今年的世青赛上实现突破！也期待明年的青年组赛场上有更多中国男单新秀的身影出现，带给我们更多的惊喜！

上了成年组就不是和美国小孩的竞争了，而是和所有人的竞争，比他强的人很多很多，他要从最底层开始爬起。

这个冠军真的意义重大。希望天朝可以重视新一批地青少年，同时重视这批在成年比赛的成长，这个很难阿，好像做的基本不怎么好
