Soon, this “Sorcerer’s Apprentice” will be vying to become master. Nathan Chen–3axel on W/U…Lovely. Howe: 3lutz2toe, DA, 3flip fall. Good program–maturing as a sk8r. He is the definition of a bean-pole; tall ‘n skinny. Yostanto: 3axel+, 3lutz2toe, 1flip. Groovy, 60s lounge-jazz new program. He’s improved his in-between a lot. Leahy: 3toe2toe, 2flip, DA. Rough in moments, but as always, a beautiful Philip Mills program. Chen (with no coach that I could see): 2axel fall out, awesome leveled ftwk, 3lutz3toe fall out, 3flip-. FAR more mature choreo. I think missing the 3axel (he kind of waxeled the take-off & was lucky to get the dbl done) rattled Chen.
