Germany's Aliona Savchenko and Robin Szolkowy launch their Grand Prix season at Skate America this week, seeking to re-establish themselves as a dominant force in pairs figure skating.http://www.deu-online.de/NotesImages/2010/P-Savchenko.Szolkowy_BS_Short.jpg
The couple, who are two-time world and three-time European champions, faltered last season when it mattered most, settling for bronze at the Olympics and silver at both the worlds and Europeans.
Their biggest rivals will likely be China's Sui Wenjing and Han Cong, who arrive in Portland for the fourth stop in the International Skating Union figure skating Grand Prix series after finishing second in the Cup of China behind compatriots Pang Qing and Tong Jian.
Sui and Han, the reigning junior world champions, boast a throw quadruple Salchow that should put them in podium position if she can avoid double-footing the landing.
The pairs field also includes rising young Canadians Kirsten Moore-Towers and Dylan Moscovitch, who took silver at Skate Canada two weeks ago.
Skate America, which will be held this year at Portland's Rose Garden arena, is the fourth of six stops on the Grand Prix circuit. Skaters can compete in two events in the series, and the top points earners in each category qualify for the Grand Prix Final in Beijing in December. SS这次短节目明显没在最佳，节目也不太熟练，PCS也还是和PT在一个位置上，期待LP

我想知道他们历年的节目曲目汇总，虽然不是ss粉，但是还是关注他们的，请指点哪里有，多谢。 回复 413# miazhang
据说德冰协给选手本人提供了一定训练费，但因为政治原因不发给教练了，而且教练也不会再指导德国选手了。所以他们的情况包括训练，比赛，生活条件都蛮紧张的。

从TEB回德国的事儿。说是他们本来坐的航班取消了，临时换了航班（估计是托运行李之后换的航班）。于是行李就不见了……如今连行李在哪儿都不清楚 额。。这是发生了什么……航空公司忙乎起来啊！！
要是因为这个退赛，那也太 震惊ing~ 和中国没关系吧。。话说准备了礼物给SS，要是不来真是哭死了 有后续消息了吗？行李找到了吗？ SS可不能退啊，还指着看现场版呢，一定要找回行李
