Born on January 23, 1989, Tseng was ranked the top amateur athlete in Taiwan from 2004 to 2006. In her professional career, Tseng has won prestigious major championships such as the U.S. Women’s Open in 2010, and the Woman’s British Open in both 2010 and 2011. With her recent success, Tseng’s earnings have reached a cool $6.1 million, landing her in tenth place on the list of highest paid female athletes of 2013.

7. Kim Yuna, $9 MillionKim Yuna, born on September 5, 1990, is a South Korean figure skater. She won the championship in ladies’ singles during the 2010 Winter Olympics and has won many other titles, such as South Korean National Champion five times between 2002 and 2013. She is also a 2009 and 2013 World Champion who began training at the age of 7. Yuna credits her coaches for her skating abilities. She is officially sponsored by Kookmin Bank, Nike, Korean Air, Samsung and the Hyundai Motor Company.
