I wished I could come home with a medal for my country, but there's al

http://www.denverpost.com/search/ci_3548056

"In the free program, I felt really good going into it," he said. "I felt like I could get through the program. I felt like I knew what I was doing, but then toward the middle I started to doubt myself and feel like nothing I did could give me a medal because there were all these other guys doing a quad and skating their best at the Olympic Games."

Looking back, he admits the atmosphere got to him. He had warmed up with the last group, which included Plushenko, who was

"It was scary," he said. "People didn't quiet for the entire warm-up. There was so much energy in that building it was palpable. There was nothing I could do about it. I just skated and I got scared. I've never felt like that in a competition, where I was just plain scared.

"The performance was disappointing. I wished I could come home with a medal for my country, but there's always next time."

sometimes, it's a little hard to us to understand Weir.

Hope he just make the same mistake only one time.

Yvonne

Afterward, he said missing a bus threw off his timing. Saturday he said other factors were bigger.

I think, Weir need more important competion experience.

Wish Johnny can overcome the hesitation of using quad this time.

If he wants to promote his career, the quad is the problem he must fix, sooner or later. I hope, sooner.
