出生于1935年5月14日的Bobby Darin 可谓是一名全能明星。 他不仅在演唱领域取得了杰出的成就，在影视表演和音乐创作等方面也很有建树。 1959年他的代表作 Mace the Knife 问世， 这首歌曲也是Bobby的标志歌曲，曾经在1959年美国Billboard排行榜上连续9周排在首位。 05-06赛季波兰双人选手Dorota ZAGORSKA / Mariusz SIUDEK 的短节目中曾经使用了这个音乐的片断。此外他的另外一首名曲beyond the sea我们也不陌生。迪斯尼动画片《海底总动员》的片尾曲就是这首歌。这首取自法国民歌 La Mer的歌曲在Bobby Darin的演绎下格外动情。在1963年，Bobby Darin主演的电影 Caption Newman M.D获得了奥斯卡提名，并且该片获得了当年法国电影评论会最佳男演员的大奖。此外，Bobby Darin 还积极参加各种电视节目的制作，并参与为电影配乐的工作。 遗憾的是这位天才艺人在1973年12月20日第二次心脏手术之后，不幸去世，享年37岁。
