雷鸟的SP成绩比世锦赛还高些，B/A的领先幅度也不小；美国队头一天能积分排到第一还是靠他俩，加油争取首冠
我觉得Ben整个就是美国队的吉祥物 他带那个帽子整就一个山姆大叔啦。感觉队长如果不是Evan就是Ben了。
4/16/2009 赛事回顾
团体赛第一天，本无甚期待，结果比预想好很多，甚慰。
BA以一曲欢快奔放的踢踏舞为美国队赢得了开门红（Tanith太太太美了！）。Ben的兴奋之情溢于言表，他在twitter里写道：
OH YEAH!! it feels good to be done with the OD. We skated really well and threw a 1st place on the board for team USA! Im stoked for tmw!

而Tanith则早已眼巴巴地开始‘盼望着假期，盼望着明天’了: One more day before the season's really over!

她说备战这个比赛是个艰难的过程，赛季进行到这个时候，大家都已经疲惫不堪。‘我很高兴我们的肌肉还记得那些动作。这个表演也许不及世锦赛上的那次有能量和活力，但这里观众很喜欢它，我们对此感到高兴。’

同时她对把团体赛引进花滑显示了极大的热情‘我们可以听见（队友们）在看台上替我们加油，这种感觉很有趣。它提醒我这不是世锦赛，我们可以放轻松，享受比赛的过程。希望明天我们可以玩得更尽兴一点。’

和满脸阳光灿烂的BA相比，肩负着队长重任的Evan则显得神色凝重得多。他深知自己的表现也许会成为决定全队最终排名的决定因素，面对一众来势汹汹的强敌，他除了知难而上别无选择。而困扰了他整个赛季的脚伤和世锦赛后空中飞人般的繁忙日程已经让他的精力和体力严重透支。
比赛前的warm up，和满场飞奔，一个接一个BH跳跃着的对手相比，他的状态让人担忧。被Frank形容为‘他做梦时都可以做得完美无瑕’的3Lutz落冰不稳，3Axel更是跳空了一次又一次，直到热身时间结束才做成一个。
但当Bolero的音乐响起的时候，他那种自信而凌厉的气势终于又回来了，一连串干净漂亮的动作如同行云流水，摧古拉朽……

当他终于完美地为这套短节目画上句点时，不再有四大洲和世锦赛时豪情万丈的挥拳呐喊，取而代之的是完成使命的释然和平静。New seasonal best，直到此刻，他的脸上才露出了满意的笑容。
赛后他坦言对自己的表现不十分满意，因为没有达到世锦赛时火花四射的激情。由于时差尚未调整过来，他说自己还处在美西凌晨两、三点的混沌状态。

队长的重要职责之一是赛后接受记者的采访和对全队的表现作总结发言。他对全体队友给与了高度肯定。"I'm very proud of my team, all around and in all of the disciplines. I think Tanith and Ben did a great, great job in the OD, and our men did really well and then our ladies did great. I think they both might have had their personal best. I think it shows the depth we have in our country", commented team captain Lysacek.

美国队的俊男美女啦啦队（Ben在Twitter里说大家要注意看喔，带着山姆大叔帽的（帅哥）就是我！的确好抢镜！）
而主办方RP的K&C区域设计，让Evan和Tanith之间默契无间的友情再一次被细心的观众尽收眼底。
在女单比赛的大部分时间里，两人都并肩而坐，窃窃私语，含情脉脉的眼神交流数不胜数。就像冰魂说的，‘两清若是久长时，又岂在朝朝暮暮。’也许现阶段对两个人来说，好朋友远比恋人的关系来得更轻松和长久。
再过几个小时，属于他们的这个漫长而艰难，却充满难忘记忆的09赛季就要成为历史。但愿当明天的太阳从大西洋海面升起的时候，等待他们的将是一个充满希望和快乐的崭新的开始。

这对小夫妻明显是藕断丝连..........严重怀疑两人在复合ING.......不过貌似更喜欢做朋友状,难道是那种超越爱情的友情吗?呀么呆!!!!!!!!!!
冰舞漂亮是漂亮,衣服肯定烧钱,硬是比人家多出一套........果然漂亮要付出代价的
