Strange competition: really high level, with Kiira’s PB in FS, and a total score quite close to her top. So, great news? I think not so good.
I already said it many times in the past: her skill on Flip is terrible, that kind of jump costs too much, too often. And two spots for Finland are saved with just a miracle: limit was 28, but luckily a quibble in the rules avoided a hoax.
In the end, a great season for Kiira: but could be even better. Really bad luck on Euros and Worlds…

I think Kiira’s problem is that she also seems to think that these “failures” are just bad luck. But they aren’t, the problems is her nerves. She always says in interviews that she is a really good competitor and does her best in high pressure situations, however that no longer is the case. She probably was like that when she was younger but in recent years it’s been quite the opposite. Before she can do anything about it, she should acknowledge where the real trouble is, and that is her nerve control, which is non existent. She could easily score over 180 if she was able to perform the way she undoubtedly does during practise but in competition she gets too nervous to perform well. And she always says “I don’t know what happened”. Well you should. Alissa Czisny has the same problem, they are so called headcases. Which is a shame because Kiira is a really good skater.

Yes Wanda, I agree with most of the things you said. I always thought this Kiira’s passion for Katanga Yoga was because of the attempt to better control her nerves; well, it seems it didn’t work too well. She certainly has a strong character and strength of will, ’cause it’s absolutely not easy reacting after a bad fall or a mistake during an important competition, whereas she did it many times in the past: maybe Susanna and Maaret are not the top for helping her, from this point of view.

以前说过科妹子的爹地是芬兰女子冰球国家队的教练啊，不知道现在还是不是了

我刚查了一下，貌似现在的教练不是科妹子的父亲了，维基百科显示这位老教练已是芬兰名人堂成员Finnish Hockey Hall of Fame.
