<P>6月29日，美国总统Bush在白宫宴请了日本首相小泉纯一郎。</P>
<P>同时受邀参加宴会的还有： Apolo Anton Ohno, <STRONG>Kiristi Yamaguchi</STRONG>，<STRONG>Inoue</STRONG> and <STRONG>John Baldwin</STRONG>, astronaut Soichi Noguchi and baseball great Hank Aaron.</P>

<P><STRONG><U>Sun Valley Show</U></STRONG></P>
<P>這是每年夏天（7-9月閒）在加州美麗的小鎮Sun Valley舉行的傳統滑冰盛事，每年都會邀請到最受歡迎的業餘和職業頂級高手參加，以個人專場的形勢推出。今年已經舉行的表演匯集了<FONT face="Times New Roman">Philippe Candeloro</FONT>，<FONT face="Times New Roman">Evgeni Plushenko</FONT>，<FONT face="Times New Roman">Rena Inoue & John Baldwin</FONT>，<FONT face="Times New Roman">Tanith Belbin & Benjamin Agosto以及來自中國的名將申雪/趙宏博。</FONT></P>
<P><FONT face="Times New Roman">接下去的表演會更加精彩紛呈，其中包括了一些深受冰迷們愛戴的久違的面孔，像Alexei, Ilia, Todd, Jamie/David等。具體時間安排如下（我個人最期待的是Yags的重現江湖,although I'm an Evan fan now )。</FONT></P>

<P><STRONG><U>Matt Savoie</U> </STRONG></P>
<P>在上月國際冰聯于匈牙利舉行的年會上，美國選手Matt Savoie以運動員代表的身份被任命為技術委員會成員，將參與對單/雙人滑技術及評分章程的制定，修改和完善工作。他現在康耐爾大學攻讀法學碩士，為專心學業，他將不會參加未來一年的國際賽事，但不排除參加07全美錦標賽的可能。他的理想是成爲一名律師。恭喜Matt，祝願他早日實現自己的理想。</P>
<P><STRONG><U>其他短訊</U></STRONG></P>
<P>日本小將淺田姐妹和織田迫於日本本土冰場資源有限，上冰訓練的時間得不到保證而相繼前往美國訓練。</P>
<P>另外Tim Goebel已正式被著名的常青籐學院之一：哥倫比亞大學所錄取，將攻讀財會專業，今後的目標是成爲銀行業投資人。Sasha Cohen在結束了COI的行程后會參與電影Moondance Alexander的拍攝工作，這將是她的大銀幕處女作。她將把今後一年的工作重心放在演藝事業上，從而將退出大獎賽的競爭。在此也祝他們也能在滑冰以外的領域取得成功。</P>
