Polina Shelepen will join Russian team at two Worlds
The silver medalist of the 2011 Junior Grand Prix Final and 2012 Russian Junior Championships Polina Shelepen, a student of Eteri Tutberidze, will join Russia’s national team at two Worlds.
She will take part at the 2012 World Junior Championships, which will be held in Minsk from February 24 to March 2 and at the 2012 World Championships in Nice, which will be held from March 26 to April 1.
At the Junior Worlds she will replace Elizaveta Tuktamisheva and will join Adelina Sotnikova and her team-mate Julia Lipnitskaia. At senior’s Worlds she will replace Ksenia Makarova and will join Alena Leonova and Polina Korobeynikova. WFS does not know yet details and reasons of these changes in the Russian team for the senior’s Worlds.
One thing is clear – Russia’s ladies team at the 2012 World figure skating championships in Nice will be one of the strongest in recent years.
