Kirk是2000年世界青少年比赛的冠军，多次全美比赛的前6名，2004年全美比赛的第三名，参加世界锦标赛的成绩一直都不是很理想，她状态最好的时候是在2003－2004赛季，相当一段时间内，她的3t-3t有很好的稳定性，也是我个人比较喜欢的选手之一。Kirk有两套节目我个人是比较喜欢的，一个是02－04用了两个赛季的die fledermaus，03年的美国站比赛应该是她发挥的最出色的一次，还有一个是04－05赛季的甲壳虫协奏曲，这套节目我很喜欢，世锦赛结束后的马歇尔比赛是她发挥比较好的一次。如果你很喜欢Kirk，不妨找这两套节目来看一下。

I think she retired mostly because she still couldn't overcome the sadness of losing her mother, and also that she's not getting higher placements at US nationals... not because of Lysacek... She mentions her mother's death almost every single time in her interview...

BTW, from the discussion board we had at USFSA, jenny kirk and lysacek are still friends... not too bad.. not sure which one's true.

I read the news mainly from FSU long ago. The poster claimed that Jenny broke up with Evan and their relationship was not very good since then. S/He also stated that the reason why Jenny retired from the competition had something to do with her personal life. The passing of her mother was definitely part of it but there was something else, which was not very good. I think the poster wrote some words like drug or that but I wouldn't say it because I don't remember those things exactly. Of course, there are so many obscure people in FSU so maybe I shouldn't believe what they said.
