"I am excited for the documentary release because it gives people the opportunity to see what my life is like outside of the glitz and glamour and shows them what my life is really like behind the scenes," Weir stated. "I'm so happy to open myself and my world to fans of figure skating and people who are just getting to know me for the first time. I want people to laugh and cry when they watch the movie.
"I hope I can help to show the world what it takes to be a world-class figure skater and give them a three-dimensional idea of what the life of a figure skater is like."
Weir recently joined the Board of Governors of nPlay, a non-profit organization that is uniting athletes from across the sports world devoted to fighting childhood obesity and a healthy lifestyle for young Americans.(加入了某非赢利组织,成员有很多运动员,致力于帮助美国肥胖儿童,帮助他们建立良好生活习惯)
Weir also recently announced a self-designed fashion line called "Be Unique" that will be launched in Korea in the upcoming weeks.

德州在线的文章,介绍他的形体教练Caroleanne Leone,在影片中多次出现 :http://www.delawareonline.com/ar ... in-Film-Documentary
Leone began working with Weir as his personal trainer in 2001, introducing Weir to Pilates as therapeutic training to relieve shin splints and for core conditioning. According to Leone, “It was extremely important for me to understand the sport of figure skating in order for Johnny's sessions to be efficient. Having a strong dance background allowed me to incorporate artistic movement for balance and grace. We knew from the beginning we would be a good match.”
Taking it a step further, Leone’s training regime for Weir evolved into an emphasis on correct biomechanical movement through muscular balance and increased range of motion and flexibility. Leone even introduced plyometric training, which incorporates explosive movements to develop muscular power, and has become a popular training technique for many professional athletes in recent years .

Despite openly gay sports commentator Mark Lund's snide remark, "I can't wrap my head around how overly out he is without saying he's out," Weir maintains, "What I do in my bedroom is personal. I don't think anyone needs to know if I'm sleeping with Sienna Miller or Orlando Bloom."
