埃得里奇的Triple loop
普鲁申科的Triple flip
Sandhu的Triple Salchow
Great clips admin! But Sandu is left-footed (landing foot) and Puloshenko is right-footed(landing foot)as most other skaters are. So it is not very representitive to put them together if we try to tell the difference between flip and salchow. To put it brief, flip has toe pick and salchow doesn't, but they both use backward inside edge to jump.
There is a very good website that show different elements of figure skating, for both single and pairs. There are also vedios accompany the explanations, we can even get slow motions for some element. The skater shown in the vedios are not famous, and they usually do singles or doubles for jumps. But the techniques are clean. we can also learn about edges, spins and grace movements such as spirals. Here is the link:

Hope this site can help fans to know figure skating better.
BTW, here is my "cheat sheet" for recognizing jumps (take conter-clockwise skater, or right-footed (landing foot) as I call it, as example.
First of all, outside edge and inside edge: for outside edge, there is only the thin air between the skater and the ice, while for inside edge, you get the other leg in between. in other word, the inside edges are between the two legs, the outside edges are between one leg and the ice.
Forward and backward means the direction the skater skate.
Now the jumps:
axel: the easiest one to recognize: the only one that use forward edge(outside).
lutz: the second easiest to recognize: the only backward edge jump that the skater leaning to the left. The long (or not so long if conected with steps) backward gliding is another sign.
flip: backward inside edge with toe-pick. ---often with steps go into the jump now days. When without conected steps, usually with a long left foot forward glide followed by 3-turn and toe-pick
salchow: backward inside edge WITHOUT toe-pick. tow-tick or not is the key for separate flip and salchow.
loop and toe-loop are the only jumps that use the same foot to jump and land, in this case (conter-clockwise skater), the right foot.
both use backward right foot outside edge to jump and land. loop without toe-pick, toe-loop as the name indicated, with toe-pick.
Two more points:
1. All jumps are landed on the right foot backward outside edge.
2. As loop and toe-loop are the only jumps that start (jump) from right foot outside edge, they are the only jumps that can be done as a second or third jumps in jump combinations.
Difficulty- wise, xxx-loop is more difficult than xxx-toe-loop combination as there is no toe assistance in loop. The first jump needs to carry lots of speed to make the conected loop possible.
