LOL, how about Fumie Suguri, 2-time worlds medalist, 3-time Four Continent champion, former GPF champion and muti-times Jpanaese National champion.
Viktoria Pavuk, 4th in Euro a couple years ago.
Julia Sebestyen, former European champion.
Sarah Meier, 8th in the Olympics, two place higher than Liu.
Kimmie Meissner, former world junior medalist and 2-time US National medalist, 6th in the Olympics, definitely stronger than Emily Hughes.
Yoshie Onda, muti-times GP series champion.
Susanna Poykio, former European silver medalist.
Mira Leung, a rising Canadian single skater, has hometome advantage.
Sure, some of them were defeated by Yan Liu in the Olympics. But they either have a rough season or simply didn't skate well enough. If they could overcome their difficulty, I could see them pass Yan Liu, whom I like and want her to place into top 10, kind of easily. In other words, I do think group A is tougher. |
