Basically Brian just said that after the Olympics he gave her the space she needed (since winning a gold medal is a life changing experience). He was there for her but gave her the time to figure out what she wanted to do because trying for another Olympics would be a lot of work and it was her decision. He said that he asked them whether to leave room for her in his schedule or not and her mother said no. He agreed that it's possible that this space they gave her could have been misinterpreted as neglect. On August 2nd Yu Na's mother told him they would no longer be receiving his coaching services. Brian was shocked.
He also said that back in April when the Mao rumours came out he emailed Yu Na right away with the heading "rumours" and told her that they were in fact that and that his loyalty was to her only.
Brian said that he had a good relationship with her mother and that she was very knowledgeable about her daughter, her daughter's skating, and skating in general...that she was very involved.
When asked about Yu Na's Tweet he said that he was glad that she was speaking out because no one had heard anything from her about all of this.
He said that he loves Yu Na, that she is the best skater in the world and that kind of skating won't be matched for a long time to come.

he said he was working out his summer schedule in the spring and asked if he should keep time for Yuna or did she need or want time and space as she did after Vancouver. he was told not to hold any time, he could fill her spots with other students. He said he saw her all summer and helped her out with little things here and there.
He needed to know his fall schedule so he and Tracy Wilson had a meeting on Aug 2nd with Yuna's mother, a translator and an agent. They were told at that time by Yuna's mother that they were keeped the coach's spot empty. He also said the meeting was confusing so he asked at the end of it, so you mean you will no longer be needed us? And was told correct. he mentioned after the meeting he looked at tracy and said "I think we've just been fired"
He mentioned that he decided to issue a statement now, because he knew there were rumours of him not working now with Yuna, and he didn't want those rumours spilling over to the GP season, because he has other skaters to think of and didn't want to be at a competition with Rippon, for example, and have the media attention at that competition on Orser and Kim, instead of where it should be at that time.
He also mentioned that he had heard the rumours after the games about Mao, he has never heard from her or anyone in her camp, and sent an email to Yuna at that time telling her that they were just rumours, he was loyal only to her, and to ignore them.
He was asked about the Tweet from Yuna and all he would say is she's glad she finally at least has a voice in this, because up to now she has been silent herself, he thinks she's amazing, best skater in the world, and wishes her nothing but the best. |

，其实大家认真想想以我弟弟女友目前取得的成绩，他们分手是必然的。因为目前金可以说不需要什么教练来指导她了，她目前要思索的应该是如何经营她后面的人生。而BO大叔除了本身做运动员时期取得的辉煌成绩以外，金的成功可以说为他的教练生涯开启了一扇充满诱惑的大门。也许这2人彼此肯定都希望有一个新的开始。2人目前都可以说是名利双收，得到了自己想要的东西。所以这样的结果是必然的，师徒的感情是肯定有的，但人在现实面前是肯定要做出决定的。
